Crack cocaine offender headed to prison

A 51-year old Seneca man is headed to prison for 12 years for distributing crack cocaine. Deputy Solicitor Lindsey Simmons says the sentence handed down this morning to Michael Bernard Christian, also known as Qwai Aziz Kabir, amounts to 12 years without the chance for parole. Simmons says the defendant pleaded guilty this morning in the Oconee General Sessions Court. He was arrested December 14, 2017 by members of the narcotics division of the Seneca Police Department.
