Council Approval for Signs

Westminster city council has given approved a request by the Mountain Lakes Convention and Visitors Bureau to replace signs.  Ken Sloan, who is executive director of the bureau, had requested $20,000 from the city to replace signs which direct tourists to places recommended by the Westminster Chamber and the Visitors bureau.  The $20,000 from the city is a match for the $20,000 in grant money applied for through the South Carolina Heritage Corridor.
