Coax A. Sanford III

Coax A. Sanford III, 72, of Oconee County, S.C., unexpectedly passed away on Sept 29th, 2025, while at OMH. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, Oct 4th, 2025, at Ramsey Creek Preserve. Coax was born in Gaston, N.C., to Doris and Coax A. Sanford Jr. on October 27th, 1952. Coax was preceded in death by 2 Sons,1 Grandson, 2 Sisters, his Wife, and his Mother and Father. Coax is survived by his Sister, Wendy Sanford; 2 sons, Coax Sanford IV and Jammie Sanford( Rhonda); 3 Daughters, Nina Worley (Jeff), Tina Meldau(Joseph), and Tabitha Smith. Grandchildren – Coax A Sanford V,  Ariel Sanford(Coleman), Montanna Roberts(Ottis), Kendel Lewis(Brandon), Jeff Worley Jr. (Angie), Athena Rholetter, Scott Worley, Zack Worley, Morgan Meldau, Skyla Sanford.  Great-grandchildren Gabriel, Jakalynn, Opie, CoaxVI. Coax loved his family and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. Coax was an Army Veteran who loved drawing, new crafts, and hobbies. He will be missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
