Clemson residents invited to speak out on short-term rentals

Like Seneca, the university city Clemson is grappling with issues over short-term rentals. The Clemson City Council will hold a hearing at 6 o’clock Monday night, March 4 at City Hall to consider a proposed amendment to the short-term residential rental standards. As drafted, the proposed amendment will permit the use of a decal instead of a required yard sign to identify registered rentals and require the installation of a carbon monoxide detector in units.
