Clemson Football Player Arrested

Clemson head football coach Dabo Swinney announced that senior defensive tackle Vic Burley has been suspended indefinitely from the team following his arrest early Saturday morning.  The Clemson University Police Department arrested the 21-year-old defensive lineman in Pickens County on one count of public disorderly conduct. Burley was released later that day after posting a $257.50 bond.  The Tigers are scheduled to open their 2026 college football season on September 5 against LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Burley’s status for that high-profile matchup is now completely up in the air.
