Chamber helps lead two community events next week

Dari McBride, CEO of the Oconee Chamber of Commerce, calls attention today to a pair of community-oriented events.  Monday, February 6 from 6 to 8 pm, the chamber and others are staging an information session at Walhalla’s Center for the Performing Arts planned to let all who are interested learn more about what’s happening in the city’s downtown business community.  Drinks and appetizers are included.  Everyone is invited.  And then at noon on Wednesday, February 8, the United Way of Oconee will cut the ribbon for the new location of the organization, to be situated next door to the chamber office in Leas’ Courtyard, SC 28, the Blue Ridge Boulevard, across the highway from Take Cover Storage (a boat storage business).
