A descendant of early settlers of Oconee and Pickens counties has died at the age of 83.  Roberta Head died December 20 at the Cottingham Hospice House.  She was the wife of Harold Head and a co-founder of Head-Lee Nursery.  The funeral will be 11 this morning at the Davenport Funeral Home; the burial in Oconee Memorial Park.
