Fire near West Union

A Sunday afternoon fire near West Union destroyed an empty barn. Assistant Chief Jess Neville of the West Union Volunteer Fire Department said the fire occurred near Cook Lane in the Poplar Springs Community. Neville said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
