Smoke inhalation in home fire

Fire gutted the inside of a home near West Union, and one person required medical attention. Oconee Fire Chief Charlie King said last night cause of the fire at 446 Cedar Tree Road was under investigation. One occupant, trying to save a pet, suffered smoke inhalation and required a trip to the hospital.
