A second man has been arrested in Oconee County on charges of intent to defraud the South Carolina Education Lottery.  According to the Sheriff’s Office, the arrest of Eric Alan Jenkins, 30 years old, took place late Friday afternoon.  An arrest warrant accused Jenkins of attempting to cash stolen lottery tickets at a West Union business.  The ticket in question […]

  One stabbing victim in Oconee County this morning is getting emergency medical attention, and a law enforcement investigation is underway.  A spokesman for the Sheriff’s Office says a bloody victim was found this morning in the Keowee Community, on Knox Landing Road near the Evatt Road.  A medical helicopter has flown the stabbing victim for treatment.       […]
