U-S Senator Tim Scott, candidate for re-election next month, makes an appearance this afternoon in Seneca.  According to an announcement by the Oconee Republican Party, Scott will hold a meet-and-greet at 3:30 at the Seneca Family Restaurant.

State troopers report a late night traffic fatality in Pickens County.  The accident occurred at 10:55 at U-S 123 and SC 124.

A 31-year old motorcyclist has been arrested and charged with distribution of methamphetamine after an Oconee deputy sheriff said he found baggies of meth in the man’s possession.   According to the Oconee Sheriff’s Office, suspect Jeremy Allen Ward was discovered Saturday pushing a motorcycle on the Oak Creek Road near Seneca.  The motorcycle was towed from the scene.
