Cashiers, NC Man Arrested in Oconee County on Meth Trafficking and Stolen Goods Charges

Carl David Ferrin, IV, a 32-year-old man from Cashiers, NC, was arrested and booked into the Oconee County Detention Center early Wednesday morning on charges of trafficking in methamphetamine and receiving stolen goods. Oconee County Sheriff’s Office investigators, responding to a report of a stolen U-Haul trailer on Blue Ridge Riding Club Road on Tuesday afternoon, identified the stolen trailer and subsequently located approximately 48.8 grams of methamphetamine on the property, which Ferrin IV claimed ownership of. Ferrin, IV, remains in jail on a combined $110,000 surety bond as the investigation continues.
