Carolyn Parker

 Seneca, SC — Carolyn Parker, surrounded by family, joined the saints in Heaven to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on December 1, 2025.

 

Caring and loving, her family inspired Carolyn to pursue a career and lifelong love of nursing. She is remembered by so many for her intelligence, her mild and meek demeanor, and her loving care for patients and those she trained as they began their nursing careers. A wonderful cook, gardener, artisan, and nurse, her hands were never empty as she tended and visited those she loved.

 

In addition to her loving parents, John Henry and Ruby Ellen Jane Powell Morgan, and beloved sister, Alta Smith, she is preceded in death by her loving and fellow artisan, homemaker, and husband: Charles Parker.

 

Carolyn is survived by her selfless and gracious brother: Larry Morgan; her faithful and compassionate daughter: Janice Parker Ellenburg; and her devoted grandchildren: Kendra, Greta, and Grant Ellenburg.

 

In addition, she is survived by niece: Deborah Jones; nephew: Michael Morgan; and many other doting family members.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Davenport Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park.

 

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home.
