Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers will head back to Clemson University’s Memorial Stadium 30 years after the NFL team played its first season there, officials said Thursday. The Panthers’ annual Fan Fest will take place at the school’s storied stadium on Thursday, Aug. 1, with $5 tickets going on sale starting Friday on Ticketmaster. All ticket proceeds will benefit Carolina Panthers Charities and its ongoing mission to serve communities across the Carolinas, officials said. The nostalgic return comes three decades after Clemson hosted all the Panthers’ home games during the 1995 season. The Panthers’ annual training camp will be held at the Carolina Panthers practice fields, at 705 W. Fourth Street, in Charlotte, starting Wednesday, July 24, featuring 14 free practices that are open to the public.
