Car strikes stationary trailer vehicle near Seneca

Near Seneca this morning, an official says, a car struck a trailer transporting equipment on S. Oak Street. Chief Caudill of the fire department said the car caught fire and its driver was transported for hospital treatment. According to Caudill, the scene is S. Oak between Dalton Road and Crescent Street and requires a traffic diversion. At the time, he said, the trailer was unloading a piece of equipment for a new housing development under construction. Besides Seneca Fire Department, the city police and the state patrol responded.
