Car accidents and car fire

One person was flown by medical helicopter this morning after a one-car accident on U-S 123, the Toccoa Highway. The highway patrol reported the accident just after 2:30 this morning near the Cleveland Pike highway.  Word spread from an after-school accident yesterday in the Ebenezer Community that injured three Walhalla High School boy students.  A school official said two of the injured were flown by medical helicopter; the third was transported to the Oconee hospital.  What’s described as an unoccupied Jeep Cherokee was destroyed by fire at mid afternoon yesterday.  Public safety responders attended to the Jeep Cherokee in the grass median of SC 28, the Blue Ridge Boulevard at Halfway Branch, as Walhalla bound traffic was forced to come to a halt.
