Candidates address conservative ratings

The challenger says the incumbent is not conservative enough; the incumbent takes issue with that.  Challenger for State House One, (Oconee-Pickens), is Wally Sparks; the incumbent, State Rep. Bill Whitmire.  Sparks has indicated Whitmire is not conservative enough to reflect the attitudes of the District One populace.  But Whitmire counters that prominent groups associated with conservative causes give him top ratings.  More on this story is being aired on 101.7/WGOG NEWS.
