Called meeting of city council tonight

Walhalla elected leaders make another try tonight at setting budgets for the new government year. The city council was left at an impasse last week without majority agreement on whether the revenues should be shuffled to allow the fire department to hold onto a pair of part time firefighting positions.  The council tonight also will discuss and possibly act on a list of six repaving projects contracted to the King Asphalt company.
