Breakfast raised repair funds for museum

A pancake breakfast last November raised more than $4 thousand to go toward repairs and upgrades to the Walhalla building that houses the Oconee Military Museum.  Everyone is invited to a check presentation ceremony at noon Friday at the Patriot’s Hall Association museum at 13 Short Street, Walhalla.  The museum honors and perpetuates the legacy of local military and promotes a greater understanding of the hardships and sacrifices of those who served.  The museum contains artifacts from the period of the Revolutionary War to the conflict in Afghanistan.
