BorgWarner announcement

The South Carolina Department of Commerce is drawing attention today to this year’s earlier announcement of BorgWarner to expand its Seneca plant by 30 new jobs. “We are pleased to move forward with our expansion plans in Oconee County. Demand for our products has increased and South Carolina has provided us with an excellent business environment, so this expansion is the right step for our company. We appreciate all the support we’ve received from state and local officials,” said Andy Mickus, General Manager, Borg Warner TorqTransfer Systems North America. Borg Warner will expand its drive train manufacturing facility on the Wells Highway. And the expansion will allow the company to add capacity for its transfer case products. Anyone interested in job opportunities with the company should contact the S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce http://dew.sc.gov/.
