Bonnie “Buddy” Jackson, Jr.

Walhalla – Bonnie “Buddy” Jackson Jr., 69, husband of Roberta Semple Jackson, passed away peacefully,  April 19th, 2021, at the home of his granddaughter, Emilie Nix (Davis), surrounded by his loving family.

 

A native of Rock Hill, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Bonnie Jackson Sr. and Minnie Alice Jackson Walton and husband Paul. Mr. Jackson was a retired self-employed contractor, who enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. Above all, Buddy’s greatest accomplishments were what he built, instilled and the legacy he left behind with his family.

 

Buddy is survived by his wife, Roberta Semple Jackson; sons, Colby Jackson and Matthew Saffer and wife Scarlet; daughters, Jennifer Crosby and husband Chris, Ashley Leroy, Patti Komniey and husband Eric; and Dede Robert and husband Ray; brother, Butch Walton; sister, Penny Jackson; twenty-two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

 

Buddy is preceded in death by his daughter, Jade Thompson.

 

No formal services will be held at this time.
