Bobby Forrester

Bobby Barton Forrester, age 87, of Seneca, South Carolina, husband of the late Kathleen Crain Forrester, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.

Born October 12, 1937, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Stephen Miller Forrester and Naomi Jane Barton Forrester. Bobby worked many years as a truck driver, was a member of Fews Chapel Methodist Church in Greer, and faithfully served his country as a United States Air Force Veteran. He was also proud to be a Mason.

He is survived by his children, Pat Weyandt of Seneca, Lynn Keys of Greer, SC, Robert Forrester of Newnan, GA, and Brad Forrester (Doris) of Seneca and, SC; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Bobby was preceded in death by his daughter, Joy Mosher, and his siblings, Joe Miller Forrester, Joyce Nalley, Outz Burnette, Al Burnette, Bill Burnette and Betty Ruth Parkston.

Per Bobby’s wishes, no service will be held. Friends and family will be gathered at the home of Pat Weyandt at a later date.
