Betty Allgood

Seneca– Betty Hopkins Allgood, 75, of 170 Singing Pines Road, passed away Thursday, January 13^th, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

 

Betty was born in Oconee County, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Carrie Mae Gibson Hopkins.  She was employed at Covidien in the Sewing Department for 40 plus years. Betty was a member of the Eastern Star and worked at the Seneca VFW for many years.

 

Survivors include daughter, Tammy Bonner; stepdaughter, Laurie Allgood; brothers, Tony Hopkins, Roy Hopkins; sisters, Darlene Webb (Ira), Margie McJunkin (Curtis), Becky Smith, Linda Vinson, Joanne Hopkins; three grandchildren, Brandon Bonner, Austin Raffaldt, Amber Raffaldt; six great-grandchildren, Brayden Bonner, Jersey Wilbanks, Malachi Wilbanks, Brandon Bonner Jr, Bentley Bonner, and Braxton Bonner; granddaughter in law, Erica Wilbanks.

 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Robbie Prater, a grandson, Lex Wilbanks; two brothers, Tex Hopkins and Steven Hopkins.

 

At Betty’s request, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
