Back to jail for murder defendant

An Oconee judge refused to set bond today for an Oconee man accused of murdering his grandmother by shooting her at a home in Seneca. Decota Castle Brown, one of two men arrested in the death March 7 of Geraldine Castle, appeared in front of General Sessions Judge Cordell Maddox, but the judge decided that, at least for now, he’s not entitled to a bond, so Brown was sent back to jail.
