A wet Wednesday

The bands of rain that chased away Streetscape workers yesterday in Walhalla produced nearly an inch and a half of rain.  The official measurement, as reported by U-S Weather Observer Barbara Wilson, amounted to 1.44”.  The typical reaction from Oconeeans who scampered to cover was that the rain is needed, but not all at once in these amounts.
