Arrest made in Monday’s shooting in Utica

Oconee sheriff’s officers have one person in custody in their investigation of the wounding of a homeless man Monday in the Utica Community. The arrest of Robert Martain Robertson, 18-year old Seneca resident, was announced early last night. Investigators plan to obtain warrants today charging Robertson with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. The victim in the incident, not identified by name, was airlifted to the AnMed hospital. The Sheriff’s Office yesterday was keeping track of his condition.
