Applications to be accepted until job is filled

The job of executive director of the Oconee Economic Alliance is already a job that is highly sought after.  Amanda Brock, Oconee County administrator, this afternoon said there have been so far in excess of 25 applications received, and the job will remain posted until filled.  The county has spread a wide net to find a replacement for interim director Janet Hartman, who is resigning to move to California.  Brock says the county has posted the job on the Oconee County website, with the South Carolina Appalachian Council of Governments, with SCANA–the South Carolina Economic Developers Association–and the International Economic Developers Association.  The job posting gives a salary range between $69 thousand and nearly $118 thousand a year.  However, Brock says the salary will be based on qualifications.
