Apple Festival adjusts its festival layout

Notwithstanding the incomplete street work, there’s determination for Westminster to help deliver a great Apple Festival.  Organizers have changed the layout downtown to work around the construction on Main and Retreat streets.   Unfortunately, part of Main and a one-block section of Retreat will remain closed.  Kevin Bronson, city administrator, says, “We know construction during the Apple Festival isn’t ideal.  But the improvements underway are part of Westminster’s continued investment in our downtown, and we’re going to make the best of the situation and have a great Apple Festival.”
