Anonymous donor ensures Thanksgiving meals

Sheriff Crenshaw says meals donated yesterday will ensure that about 700 Oconeeans will have traditional Thanksgiving meals, in a partnership of his office, the Isaiah Foundation and Publix.  The 96 meals are made possible by an anonymous donor, as part of an effort to help others in the county.  They consist of pre-cooked ham, potatoes, macaroni and cheese, canned veggies, rolls, and pumpkin pie.  According to the King James version of the Bible, Isaiah 40:31 says, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
