Alabaman first day leader in Lake Hartwell fisherman tourney

Headed into the second day of competition, pro fisherman Randy Howell of Guntersville, Alabama holds the lead in the Progressive Bassmaster Elite competition on Lake Hartwell in Anderson.  Howell finished day one with a five-bass limit of 21 pounds, 11 ounces.  He’s ahead of a competitor, Kyoya Fujita, described as a Japanese sensation.  You can follow Day 2 on Roku Sports from 8 to 11 this morning.  Semifinal day is tomorrow with championship action reserved for Sunday.
