After about 45 minutes, a guilty verdict

A young Walhalla area man received a sentence amounting to 10 years in prison today. The Oconee jury needed about 45 minutes to deliver a verdict of guilty in the case of South Carolina v. Bowdy Chance Crowe-Key. The defendant was found guilty of distribution of methamphetamine third offense, a transaction in which the meth was sold to an undercover informant working for the Sheriff’s Office. Crowe-Key, as a repeat offender, was ordered by Judge Maddox to serve 20 years, suspended to 10 and five years probation.
