A prospective buyer for a downtown building

Seneca has a verbal agreement for the sale of a former supermarket building in the downtown, but neither the sale price nor the identity of the prospective buyer was disclosed yesterday during a city hall meeting.  Seneca’s Improvements Corporation gave its chairman, Scott Moulder, the authority to negotiate a final price and report back to the corporation officers.  When asked by 101.7/WGOG NEWS to give a general explanation of what’s ahead for the Hometown building, Moulder said:  “Without divulging the exact business and what they specifically intend to do, it would be a good addition to the overall re-development of downtown and generating additional commerce and foot traffic.”
