A plan to use the former Clemson Holiday Inn property

An application for a Planned Development at 894 Tiger Boulevard, Clemson—property that for many years was a Holiday Inn has been received by the city Planning and Codes Administration Department. The applicant, Clemson Dockside, LP, of Dallas, Texas, is proposing to build a mixed-use development that will include 322 residential units, approximately 22,000 square feet of commercial space, and associated features and amenities. A presentation on the proposal will be made by the developer to the Planning Commission at their regular monthly meeting set for 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2019, in the Council Chambers at City Hall. The purpose of the session will be to allow the developer to receive feedback and guidance from the Commission to use in the refinement of design details. On Tuesday, June 11, 2019, an informal public meeting will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. The session is intended to provide an opportunity for the developer to communicate and coordinate with surrounding property owners and other interested members of the public.
