A complication for voting straight ticket, cautions election boss

To make your preference count for Oconee School Board this year, do not vote for a straight-party ticket in November.  Chieftains of political parties like it when a voter will vote a straight party line but, as the boss of Oconee Elections has explained to 101.7/WGOG NEWS, you can’t vote for a non-partisan candidate, such as school board, if you vote for a straight political party ticket.  Kristi Burr, executive director of Oconee Registration and Elections, explains further in comments airing today on 101.7/WGOG NEWS.
