Oconee records 127 cases in three days

The last three days of reports from the state health agency show 127 new cases of COVID-19 among the Oconee County populace, including 53 cases in the last 24-hour counting period.  The newest numbers reveal also that of 21 new deaths statewide, one was an elderly Oconeean who died Saturday, November 28.  In today’s report, there were 1,754 additional cases across South Carolina’s 46 counties.  Besides Oconee’s 53, there were 87 in Anderson and 100 in Pickens, Oconee’s two South Carolina neighbors.  Total test results statewide received by DHEC:  7,360; the positivity was 23.8%.
