New COVID numbers from Oconee schools

Students in a self-contained classroom at Walhalla’s James Brown Elementary School have been sent home because of a COVID-19 discovery.  The students must remain away from their school building for two weeks.  Their return date is December 17.  A self-contained class takes in students who share similar academic requirements.  Here are other COVID numbers reported today by the school district—nine students and four employees.  They are one student at each of the following schools:  James Brown, West-Oak Middle, Walhalla High, and West-Oak High.  Two students at Seneca High and three students at Walhalla Middle School.  COVID is reported among the following employees:  one at Walhalla High, one at James Brown, one at Northside, and one at the district office.
