Residents of Seneca’s Adams subdivision are organizing to better protect themselves from a crime spree that apparently has had its origins with an EF 3 tornado.  A group of subdivision met last night with Police Capt. B-J McClure to learn how a neighborhood watch program can help combat thieves who’ve picked on cars, garages, and un-occupied houses.  The Adams subdivision took a direct hit from the April 13 tornado.  Officer McClure assured the group that national studies indicate that good neighborhood watch efforts can have a dramatic effect on crime rates.
