Trick or treaters this year can count on being in good hands by stopping in at one or two Halloween events, sponsored by Walhalla’s public safety departments. Both the police and the fire departments are going to welcome trick or treaters the night of Wednesday, October 31. The Walhalla Police Department once again will stage its Boo Fest at the Depot beginning at 5:30 Halloween night and continuing for about three hours. Trick or treaters are also welcome to stop by the fire department on North Broad Street. In the meantime, you’re invited to help ensure the success of this year’s events by dropping off candy or donations at the both the police and fire departments.
