Phil Kornblut reports that highly rated RHP Braden Webb (6-4 185) of Owasso, OK has committed to USC for the 2014 class. Kornblut cites John Whittle at the BigSpur.com. North Carolina and Oklahoma State were two other schools Webb strongly considered. He visited USC in July and the Gamecocks apparently were the team to beat from that point. He’s the 8th commitment for USC’s 2014 class.
