A request from an Oconee industry failed to make last night’s County Council agenda. But the council acted after hearing the administrator describe the matter urgent. The council approved a resolution in support of Johnson Control’s proposal to change the way it reports financial information to the State Department of Revenue. According to Scott Moulder, county administrator, the change could save the auto battery component maker as much as $40 thousand a year on its tax bill.
