A civil court trial in Walhalla ended yesterday with a jury awarding $2,500 to settle a dispute between neighbors. According to a court officer, the jury award went to plaintiff Mitchell Hammond. The plaintiff had brought suit against Paul Demetres, in a dispute involving water run-off, in a subdivision off the Keowee School Road.
