Oconee County Council is to see an updated, five-year economic development strategy plan, as presented by Richard Blackwell, the director. And it has reserved time at Tuesday night’s meeting to act on the plan which is to offer a road map for the county to attract private investment. With financial support from the S-C Power Team, the county economic development commission hired RKG Associates to compile the plan. Staff recommendation calls for the council to hold a workshop to review the plan in detail.
