A 31-year old Anderson man has been jailed in Oconee, charged by the Seneca police with stealing a vehicle from Leader Ford. The theft of a Jeep Wrangler from the dealership was reported August 14 and a follow up investigation by the Anderson police found the Jeep parked behind the Anderson County Courthouse. Charged with grand larceny and jailed early today at the Oconee Detention Center was Christopher Glenn Farmer. The Seneca police quoted Farmer as saying he bought the Jeep on Craig’s List, but determined the vehicle had never been listed there.
