Despite the rain, the “Steak in Oconee” tribute to agriculture will proceed, as planned, tonight on the grounds of the Golden Corner Commerce Park at Fair Play. Sandra Jones of the Oconee Chamber of Commerce says tonight’s diners will be seated under a large tent and parking has been switched to a gravel road to ensure that vehicles don’t get stuck. The dinner takes place on the eve of the week long Carolina Foothills Heritage Fair at the same location.
