South Carolina quarterback Connor Shaw is still having some problems with the shoulder he bruised in the Gamecocks opener at Vanderbilt two weeks ago. Steve Spurrier said Shaw didn’t throw the ball on Monday and he only got limited work in Tuesday’s practice. Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney has bruised ribs and missed another practice Tuesday. Clowney, however, is expected to play Saturday night when the 8th-ranked Gamecocks take on Alabama-Birmingham at Williams-Brice Stadium.
