Seneca parade proved popular

Abnormally comfortable weather is believed to have helped attract a large crowd for last night’s Seneca Christmas Parade. Sandra Jones wishes there were an accurate way of counting or estimating the crowds that, at least at one point stood up to about five deep. Jones serves as executive director of the Oconee Chamber of Commerce, parade sponsor. Santa and Mrs. Claus wrapped up last night’s parade “in grand style,” according to Jones. The chamber’s executive director says she’s amazed that Santa looked as energetic and rested as he did, considering all of the work he has been putting in to make the big day a happy one for children.
