Senator speaks to SHS seniors

State Senator Thomas Alexander, Oconee-Pickens Republican, paid a visit recently to seniors of the AP U-S Government class at Seneca High and stressed the value of democracy for the country. Alexander told the students how he first became involved in public service and encouraged them to look for way to become involved through local organizations. He took questions and commented on issues such as cell phone use while driving and the importance for young people to take advantage of their right to vote, as soon as they are eligible.
