In the civil trial of a car accident lawsuit, the plaintiff rested late this morning at the Oconee Courthouse. The defense responded with the announcement that its only defense offering will be a 20-page deposition. At that point, Judge Macaulay sent the jury out of the courtroom while the deposition was being prepared to be introduced. The case being tried is that Melissa Seals versus Troy Stargel.
