An Oconee School District official says a school bus has been involved in an accident this afternoon on the Unity Church Road. According to Dr. Michael Thorsland, it’s believed the bus carried four students and a driver—on a route home from the West-Oak middle and high schools. There is no confirmed word yet about injuries. Thorsland quoted the bus service worker as saying the bus wound up on its side.
