An Oconee County organization that strives to lift individuals and their families from generational poverty received a boost this afternoon when the Seneca Rotary Club allocated proceeds from the club’s ticket sales. In a ceremony at the Rotary meeting, the club officially announced a donation of $1,595. Accepting the donation was Stephanie Enders, founder of Ripple of One, the organization that tries to incentivize to change habits that can lead to stable households. Part of the philosophy is to urge those in poverty to forego items that aren’t necessary and to direct their spending toward life’s necessities. And, for those able to break bad habits, there’s a financial reward offered by Ripple of One.
